"E-Tech Assimilation Module", are E-Tech's New Ethnic enhancement element that predicts the level of assimilation of an individual. The Assimilation Index provides a score indicating the degree that an individual member of a given ethnic group (e.g. Hispanics) has adopted the language, customs, or attitudes of the prevailing culture. Our new release, Version 7.0 for the Summer 2007 will have the additional Assimilation indexes included as an output on a list, data enhancement, modeling, and analytic projects. In our Summer 2007 release, these indexes will be available for the Hispanic identified individuals only. Future releases will include our Asian groups and others. The 4 levels of assimilation index offered by E-Tech are:

Assimilated, Speaks, and Understands only the Prevailing Culture Language (English Speaking Only).

Bilingual, Partially Assimilated, Speaks Primarily the Prevailing Culture Language, and still Understands Native Language (English Language Dominant).

Bilingual,Partially Assimilated, Speaks Primarily Native Language, and Understands Prevailing Culture Language (Spanish Language Dominant).

Unassimilated, Speaks only Native Language (Spanish Speaking Only).
